Founder Semu Samson Kabanda
Semu is Tanzanian and until now he is working as an accountant and assistant director in the orphanage Inspiration on Child Organization in Arusha, Tanzania. He himself lost his parents when he was little. He and his other siblings were raised by their grandmother. He made his way through governmental schools and university to end up with his bachelor in accountant. But he knows how hard this sometimes was and thats why he is always looking out for vulnerable children to see how he can support and help them. Beside that he is connected to our projects in and around Arusha. Schools, Orphanages, Hospitals and more. Wether playing with children, gaining medical experience in a hospital or planting vegetables with orphan kids is your goal. He will find the right project partner for your unforgettable time as a volunteer.
Mariya is a financial advisor from Germany who started her time in Tanzania as a volunteer. After her qualification in banking she worked for more than 20 years as a financial advisor. In her work place a customer told her about someone volunteering in Africa. And she just decided to do this too. And fell in love with Tanzania. More about that you can find on her little website: Mariya in Tansania – Leben verändern – das Eigene und das von Anderen . Until today she is volunteering in Tanzania. She trys to help single mothers with their family, orphanages and with the support of A&R Textil GmbH in Neukirch, Germany she helps to set up sewingschools. She perfectly knows what to expect if you come from a “developed country” and how to organize an unforgettable, life-changing time for you.
